Nationals Game

Mr. O'Neil got me two tickets to go to the Nationals vs. Phillies game on Monday. I went with Chance Basinger, who I knew from my Provo ward. He happens to be a Phillies fan...along with almost everybody else in the stadium. Monday night just happened to be the win for the Phillies that guaranteed their spot in the playoffs. Halladay, their pitcher, did very well. Chance said he's Mormon. The best part of the game was the "Presidential Race," where bobble-head resemblances of Thomas Jefferson, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and Teddy Roosevelt race around the ballpark. Apparently it's tradition for Roosevelt to lose. I hoped to at least see one run from the Nationals, but the final score was 8-0, Phillies.
